Superlame Sunday

So a bar down the street is charging $10 cover for entry during the Superbowl. The bar does not pay the cable provider for each person. Clearly this bar needs to be shut down for illegally rebroadcasting for commercial purposes to their own customers as copyright infringement; just like the 307 domain names siezed for unauthorized live streaming.

Wait, nobody cares about the Superbowl anyways, and why such bullshit is nessasary.

“Stop Hollywood” added to FSF’s Defective By Design resource guide to DRM-free living

DRM stands for Digital Restrictions Management, and is the result of digital denial by a select few people controlling software. The Free Software Foundation has put together a resource to find media that fully embraces computing at “DRM-free resources guide”. The Stop Hollywood website, with links and information to movies, has been recently added to the guide!
